How to Take Your Face Photos for Your Plastic Surgery Consultation

Clear plastic surgery consultation photos help Dr. Valdez prepare for your virtual consultation. Follow these steps to take your face photos at home.

If your photos are blurry, dark, or taken at the wrong angle, we will ask you to take them again.

Send your photos on WhatsApp to +52 998 845 1355, with your full name.

  1. Someone else takes the photo, standing 5 feet away from you. Back camera, not selfie camera. Zoom in (2x) so your head and shoulders fill the picture, like the photos below.
  2. Stand in front of a plain wall. If you do not have a plain wall, use one of the backgrounds shown at the bottom of this page.
  3. Face a window. Sunlight on your face, not behind you.
  4. Hair back. No glasses. No heavy makeup.
  5. Camera at your eye level, pointing straight at you. Not raised, not tilted.
  6. Six angles, shown below. Take them in this order. Keep a neutral face in every photo. No smiling.

Backgrounds you may not have thought of

You do not need a studio or a plain wall. A door, bathroom tile, or the side of your house all work. Look for anything flat, plain, and in good light.
