The best experience for a first cosmetic surgery, excellent post-operative care, the team was always attentive and responsive to my questions and needs, a completely painless procedure thanks to the technique used by the doctor, I achieved remarkable and natural results.

Dr. Valdez was amazing! He addressed all my concerns and made sure I had realistic expectations. The entire process from the first consultation to my flight home was as stress free as could be. All doctors appointments, surgery times, transportation, blood work etc, and medicines were taken care of, I just had to show up. Dr. Valdez and all his staff are kind, professional, and genuinely caring people. They work in world class facilities, in fact it was the hospital room I stayed overnight in was nicer than any hospital room I stayed at in the USA or Canada. The end results are absolutely fabulous. I am about 4 months post surgery and have no visible scarring except under my chin, which is continuing to heal and fade. People who haven’t seen me for a while keep asking which skin care products I use because I look so refreshed. I still look like me just a younger, fresher, well rested version of me. I would definitely recommend Dr. Valdez without hesitation!!

Dr. Valdez personally checked in on me twice the evening of my surgery to make sure I was comfortable and being cared for. A nurse stayed with me throughout the first night in the hospital, and in the following days, a team of wonderful nurses regularly cleaned my incisions, checked on my healing, and made sure I was comfortable. They even provided transportation to all four of my post-op appointments. Every step of the way, I felt supported, safe, and cared for. What impressed me most is Dr. Valdez’s modern, expert approach. I didn’t need to be wrapped up like in the traditional methods, and I had no pain—truly no need for painkillers. He emphasized trusting the body’s ability to heal, and he was absolutely right. At 57 years old, I wanted a refresh to address the natural aging process—jowls, skin laxity, and the downward shift of the face—and the results are incredible. I’m a 59 years old woman that was in dire need of a facial rejuvenation procedure. After much research I found Dr. Valdez in Cancun, Mexico. He is very detail oriented, caring, and approachable, without a doubt a leading professional in the field. Everything was excellent from day one. Almost a year ago, I had my first consultation appointment. I wasn’t sure about having surgery, and I also wasn’t sure about the size. Most of all, not being able to exercise felt like torture for me! When I finally decided to move forward, it was because I was completely confident in the doctor. He was the only one who measured absolutely everything! On top of that, he was always patient with me — I think he saw me almost four times before I decided on the exact date.

Now it has been exactly one month since the surgery, and I don’t regret anything at all! In fact, I already want another surgery 😂 Everything went by very quickly. The operation was very fast, my recovery was incredible. By the second day I was already driving, I had no pain, and now my scar is not visible.

I recommend and would recommend Dr. Valdez a thousand times. The result is very natural and very beautiful!

Over the course of 9 years I have been going to Dr.Valdez for all my esthetic concerns. From a Full extended tummy tuck in 2016 to liposuction of my back with a BBL in 2017 ,a breast lift / deformity correction and implants and upper blepharoplasty in 2018. Endoscopic browlift, deep plane lip lift and lower blepharoplasty in 2024 to now, October of 2025 for my arm lift. Dr. Valdez has always exceeded all my expectations. I have had excess skin and fat hanging from my upper arms since losing considerable weight in my mid 20’s. Now, after having lost a little more weight and factoring in the aging process ( I am currently 54) losing muscle mass and skin elasticity ,i t has become even more heavy, uncomfortable, and now with creypey unsightly skin. It didn’t bother me to the point of hiding or covering my arms but it has now become uncomfortable with the excess skin rubbing when I would walk.Tight sleeves in tops etc. Since Dr. Valdez has always skillfully and successfully done all my previous surgeries, it was a no brainer to have him do my arm lift. Being Canadian and researching the prices at home, having surgery in Cancun was so much more affordable and although the price was much better I needed to be sure I would have a board certified, skilled, reputable and ethical surgeon perform the surgery. I think it speaks volumes about Dr. Valdez’s reputation and surgical skills that I have returned to Cancun over the past 9 years for all my procedures. I am beyond thrilled with how my arms look even immediately after surgery. The placement of the incisions, how fine a line it is and once the incisions have healed and flattened out, they will fade to a pale line that will be barely noticeable just like all my other surgical scars. Dr. Valdez is a true artist. I highly recommend him and I don’t trust anyone else.

Dr Valdez performed a deep plane facelift on me in June 2025. I have nothing but positive feedback. Prior to arrival Dr. Valdez answered all my questions and face timed me personally a couple times to talk through my procedure. Pre op was incredible. I was went through extensive testing (blood tests, xrays, EKG, you name it) all to ensure I was healthy enough for the surgery and to make sure he was aware of my health in general. I was met at the airport and provided private transfers, he contracted team of RN’s that took care of all my needs. They picked me up at my condo and took me to all my appointments, they visited me every day to make sure all was OK, they answered any questions I on medications, they even came and washed my hair post op. Seriously, I’ve never been taken care of so much. The nurses were very knowledgeable, spoke excellent English…I can’t say enough. Dr Valdez is very skilled, my facelift is amazing! People really don’t even notice I’ve had surgery because I look the same, only younger. If someone sees me they usually comment on how I never age lol. I have never met a surgeon who cares as much about you as he does for you. I had a fair amount of anxiety before I met with him personally but after my first in person meeting, I felt confident I was in the best care. I overnighted in the Ameri med hospital and also can’t say enough about the experience. I had a private nurse stay the entire night with me. 100% amazing experience. From start to finish I felt confident and safe with the team of Dr. Valdez. The Amerimed Hospital and staff and surgery team made me feel comfortable and at ease. (I even liked the food).
