Male tuberous breast

It is a rare disorder in females but, has a great impact on adolescent development with great repercussions in adult life. A tuberous breast is a variant of gynecomastia that, affects the growth of glandular tissue, but, in addition to this, the way the breast tissue grows takes on the shape of a cone. This disorder originates from the embryonic stage, in utero, and, is caused by the alteration in the formation of the aponeuroses that, cover the muscles of the thorax and abdomen and, create a fibrous ring underneath or around the nipple-areola complex. These changes cause breast tissue growth, in a cone shape. This condition is rarely diagnosed and, the treatment that is needed for its correction is 100% surgical.
